HYIP - High Yield Investment Program
The phenomenon of HYIPs is growing bigger and bigger on the internet today. Every day new programs are being launched. Lots of people are earning fortunes investing in these programs. HYIP is a High Yield Investment Program, is an often type of pyramid scheme normally offered via the Internet. HYIPs typically accept deposits as low as $1 while promising astoundingly high returns.
Online HYIP schemes rarely last for the long term. Overwhelming number of cases suggest that HYIPs are Ponzi schemes. A Ponzi scheme is a system by which investors are lured to invest in a program by promises of very high returns on the investment. Early investors are paid using the money that later investors invest in the scheme. Things go well until new investors stop joining the system and the money runs out.
HYIPs are using different investment strategies. Some invest in stocks, others in property. There are even HYIPs investing in other HYIPs. Probably there are also programs that are not investing at all. These belong to the scammers. Those HYIPs that are not ponzi schemes are frequently outright scams.
Investors not only are never paid any interest yield, they also never see their original investment in the HYIP again either. If the returns sound too good to be true, the HYIP is likely too good to be true. Claims of secret banking systems and alternative financial networks are simply false. In fact, the problem became common enough to cause the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to issue warnings about being taken in by the claims
HYIP or a High Yield Investment Program is a risky investment. A real HYIP program invests in forex, stocks and other business opportunities while some are HYIP scammers. Do your researches well and never invest what you cannot afford to lose? Do not believe in spam emails.
